Girls Night Out:  A Fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis
This is a really fun event, 2012 marking its 7th year.
It is an
open house format, with plenty of opportunity to partake in the
activities, socialize, and enjoy the refreshments.

The event continues to evolve up to the time of the event itself.  So far...
On tap for 2012, we have exciting things planned:
massages by 2 licensed massage therapists, mini makeovers,
make and take jewelry item, nails, an astrologist, a MICHE bag raffle,
drinks, food, wine, and so much fun.
Girls Night Out has become my annual kickoff fundraiser for the MS
Bike Ride that we participate in each summer.  It began with an idea
from Judy Polidor, then Beth Rishel jumped on board, and it has helped
me begin my yearly fundraising.

The 150-mile bike ride this year is June 9 and 10, 2012.  However, we
plan to do 200 miles!  For 7 consecutive years from 2005 through 2011,
we have cycled in the MS Bike Ride and raised over $76,000 in those 7
years.  Every dollar, every penny donated will help us create a world
free of MS.
Why do I do this?  It is because my only sibling, my older brother Gary,
was diagnosed at age 30 and died from complications of this debilitating
disease at the young age of 44.  It is in his memory that I work so hard
at this cause, so that others won't have to suffer like he did.
